14A: Halfway Reflection

1)    I have set alarms on my phone to complete assignments at the same time on the same day every week. This way it is like a schedule. Also, I watch the lectures the same they come out so that I do not get behind and must watch all the lectures at once.

2)  When I feel like giving up I just must take a step back and realize what I will get out of taking this class and completing assignments. I already see myself thinking with more creative and looking for opportunity on a day to day basis. The key is just to be positive when something may get tough. Ready other people blog posts and ideas has also helped me remain positive. When I see a great pot with creativity and effort it inspires me to work harder on my own posts.

3) Tips:
Fostering the skills that support tenacity
·      Think positive
·      Do work for your own advancement
·      Use creativity to make it FUN
            Developing the tenacious mindset
·      Keep a schedule
·      Stay organized
·      Use your personal talents to succeed

  1. Hi Jaclyn,
I really liked your post because when I read it, I started to think about how similar we do things. I usually finish the assignments all the same day because later on I might forget. This class requires a lot of time management and it's brutal that you keep a positive mindset. It is a lot of stress but in the end it's worth it! Great work!

  2. Hi Jaclyn! I also have alarms and reminders on my phone so I am reminded of when I need to complete each assignment. I think this method is helpful for me. I also think it is great that you mentioned the importance of having a positive mindset if you get frustrated with the assignments. That is great advice! It may be time consuming but getting it done feels great and worth it.

  3. Hey Jaclyn, I really like how you literally set alarms to make sure you don't forget to do the assignments. I mean how could you forget when that annoying sound goes off. I also believe that the key to keep going is to be positive and know that you will get through it. I also think the advice you gave was very understandable and definitely helps make a difference.
